    The M32R family 32-bit RISC microcomputers were developed by Renesas specifically to enable users to incorporate high-level functions into their systems. They incorporate the M32R CPU, a compact CPU core that delivers excellent performance.     The H8SX family is the fastest single-chip, feature-rich microcontroller in the H8 family platform. The H8SX is powered by a 32-bit architecture that operates at speeds as high as 50 MHz, up to 1 MB on-chip flash memory, low power consumption, high ROM code efficiency, and offers a wide selection of on-chip peripherals. more


    The H8S family has a wide-ranging lineup of product series to meet the demands of various customer applications with on-board interfaces for applications such as LPC, BMC, ISA bus controller, I2C, USB, CAN, Eternet, IE bus controller and LCD controller. 3 V/5 V - I/F combination and high-speed low-voltage operations are also supported. H8S products consist of static circuits.(This is what the S in H8S refers to.) Additionally, the H8S family allows provision as IP of various peripheral functions, including CPU cores, and also smooth development of ASIC and SOC products.


    This series has maintained upward compatiblility with the H8/300 series. It is equipped with abundant peripheral functions including I2 C and low-power consumption modes. This series includes an enhanced lineup equipped with PC and server host interfaces.


    Within the H8S family, it is a low-voltage (2.2 V for flash products, 2.2 V for mask ROM versions) series with an on-board sub clock, and internal USB function, LCD controller (LCDC) and IE bus. It is well-suited for low-power consumption applications.


    This series has an improved lineup of low-voltage/high-speed operation (25 - 33 MHz@3.3V) and abundant memory variations from internal ROM-less memory to flash memory (128 kB - 512 kB) equipped versions. Because it is a general-purpose product in the H8S family, it is well-suited for a large variety of system control applications.


    16-bit high performance devices with up to 128KB of ROM and high integration of on-chip peripherals


    This product series has signal processing circuits and abundant on-chip peripheral functions. It has an image signal processing circuit and a user-friendly interface for external devices, which makes it well-suited for PDP (plasma display panel), LCD monitor, and projector applications.


    This is a higher-level H8S product family with on-chip peripheral functions such as a 16-bit multiplier, high-speed A/D converter (1μs), and Motor Management Timer (MMT). more
